Surah Yaqeeh, the fifty-sixth surah and one of the Meccan surahs of the Qur'an, which is located in the twenty-seventh chapter. "Event" is one of the names of Resurrection and it is mentioned in the first verse of this Surah. Surah Al-Yakeh speaks about the Day of Judgment and its events and categorizes the people on the Day of Judgment into three groups: Companions of the right, Companions of the North, and the former, and talks about the status and reward or punishment of each group. In the interpretations, it is meant from the third group (former) of Imam Ali (a.s.) who surpassed others in believing in the Prophet (s.a.w.). Many virtues have been mentioned for the recitation of this surah, including that if someone recites Surah al-Wakeh, it is written that he is not one of the heedless.
