QtMind is a free computer clone of the mastermind game written in C++ with the aid of the Qt framework. It is possible to enable/disable same color in codes. You can play codemaker or codebreaker. QtMind is under GPL version 3 or newer (on your choice).
The game set a hidden color code and you have to guess the code based on the hints that you get from the game. For any peg that has the same color and position you get a black pin and for any peg that has correct color but not on the correct position you get a white pin. Your objective is to find the hidden code in less than 10 guesses.
You can set same color to be allowed or not. The number of pegs can be 2 to 5 and the number of colors can be 2 to 10.
This game can be installed on Windows, Linux and Mac. See the game home page for more information.
You can drag and drop pegs on slots or long tap for droping on the left most empty slot.
This game is developed on C++ and Qt5 and not Java. So it needs some Qt libraries (which is encapsulated inside the package). In the future, as the Ministro project gets better, the total size of the package can be less than a megabyte.
You can also chalange the game by being the hidden codemaker. The game contanis 3 rather intelligent algorithms in which the Donald Knuth's minimax (worst case) can solve the classical mastremind game in at most 5 guesses. More intelligent algorithms based on genetic algorithms and neural networks will be added soon.
Have fun
